Bus Options into Port Authority NYC

Coach Line #14 from Downtown Closter or on Piermont road
The #20 runs on Knickerbocker rd( west side of the towns)

Drive to Fort Lee and park in them municipal lot approx $120 p month and take the bus to port authority

Ferry Options

The NYC waterway ferry terminal is located 16 miles south of Closter and Demarest

The commute to the NYC ferry ( NY Waterways Port Imperial in Weekawken NJ)is approximately 35 minutes from Closter and Demarest.

The ferry runs approximately every 10-20 minutes (depending on the time of the day)
The midtown ferry takes approximately 8 minutes across the river. When you land on the NYC side there are free shuttle buses, taxis and uber.
There is a ferry that also runs to downtown NYC Brookfield Pl.

Train Options

Emerson train station( pascack valley line) offers train parking spots ot non residents.
